I am an Atlanta-based actor and voice artist with a passion for performance, storytelling, and connecting with people.
Born and raised in the Maryland/DC area, entertaining has always been a part of who I am. On November 21, 2019, I was "bit by the bug", and I realized storytelling was more than something I enjoyed — it was something I wanted to pursue seriously.
My voice-over journey officially began in 2023 with TwentyOne 21: A Black AF Scripted Audio Comedy, a two season, 21-episode scripted podcast that I voiced and produced. The project went on to receive an NAACP Award nomination in 2024 and gave me the opportunity to develop my skills in long-form storytelling, character work, pacing, and production.
Wanting to continue sharpening my craft, I later trained with Atlanta Voice Over Studios, where I expanded my commercial voice-over skills and produced the commercial demo you hear today.
My approach to performance is a mix of personality and preparation. Whether I’m stepping into a character, delivering a commercial read, working behind the microphone, or collaborating with a creative team, my goal is always the same: make the performance feel natural, connected, and true to the story.
That mindset led me to create SayItWithSakyi — a home for my voice, my acting, and the personality behind both.
